The HSBC Cares for Children Fund was established in 2000.
The objectives of the Fund are to support through sponsorship and Bank staff volunteering: the education, recreation and rehabilitation programmes for children with greater emphasis on less fortunate children; and education programmes for disadvantaged students and schools in economically deprived areas.

Summer OASI Learning Experience
HSBC Cares for Children Fund (HCCF) has presented a sponsorship to the OASI Foundation to help fund the Summer OASI Learning Experience (SOLE).

Teaching Children that pirates are real bullies HSBC Cares for Children Fund (HCCF) is sponsoring a class at the Cospicua Primary School to attend the Helen O’Grady Academy. Sessions are designed to boost self-development in children, improve their life skills and tap their artistic talent, whilst teaching English through usage.

A party was held for some one hundred young children, who have been granted refugee or temporary humanitarian status.

HSBC has joined the long list of individuals and organisations who have helped raise funds for the Ohloq Tbissima Marathon. A donation of Lm3,000 was presented to Ohloq Tbissima by HSBC CEO Shaun Wallis.
