The HSBC Cares for Malta's Heritage fund was established on 4 August 2005. The objectives of the Fund are to:

setup initiatives so as to protect and enhance Malta’s heritage; and
take initiatives that enhance public awareness on Malta’s heritage.

Towards the Museum of
Fine Arts

The HSBC Cares for Malta’s Heritage Fund announced a LM10,000 sponsorship towards the Museum of Fine Arts. HSBC will also seek to raise donations to this Museum from tourists and customers through its branch network.

HSBC and BOV sponsor Green Energy generation at Palazzo Falson

Palazzo Falson, the newly refurbished to high standard museum has been equipped with a photovoltaic system. The system comprises Alwitra Solar Roofing Membrane, manufacturer of the world’s most advanced single-ply roofing system. It has been jointly sponsored by Bank of Valletta and HSBC Cares For Malta’s Heritage Fund.
